Hyaluronic acid fillers (Restylane®, Perlane®, JUVÉDERM® Injectable Gel Ultra and Ultra Plus)
Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that already exists in the human body and is used to provide volume and fullness tot h skin. It is made of non-animal based hyaluronic acid and is biodegradable and completely biocompatible with human hyaluronic acid. These fillers are indicated for the correction of moderate facial wrinkles and folds, perioral lines such as smoker's lines, prejowl areas, cheeks, under eyes and lips. The longevity of the product depends on the area in which you inject. Filler in the lip typically last 4-6 months whereas treatments to the cheeks may last up to 6 months longer.
Radiesse®
Radiesse® is made of calcium hydroxylapatite. Calcium hydroxylapatite is the main component in bone. Indicated for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds and also intended for restoration and/or correction of the signs of facial fat loss, Radiesse is longer acting and will last at least one year or longer but is not permanent. The calcium particles support in growth of new collagen. Not meant for lips, it can be used to create a "foundation" on which other products, like hyaluronic acid fillers can be placed to create the volume and correction of fine lines. Advanced techniques include nasal contouring, cheek or chin augmentation, hand rejuvenation, and post-rhinoplasty refinement.
Sculptra®
