Radiesse® is made of calcium hydroxylapatite. Calcium hydroxylapatite is the main component in bone. Indicated for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds and also intended for restoration and/or correction of the signs of facial fat loss, Radiesse is longer acting and will last at least one year or longer but is not permanent.
The calcium particles support in growth of new collagen. Not meant for lips, it can be used to create a “foundation” on which other products, like hyaluronic acid fillers can be placed to create the volume and correction of fine lines. Advanced techniques include nasal contouring, cheek or chin augmentation, hand rejuvenation, and post-rhinoplasty refinement.
